The Refelxa cane shows off dark. long leaves and thin brown stalks that will twist and grow together. The older leaves will eventually brown and fall off. and this is what creates the stripes on parts of the inner stalks!

The Song of India. also known as the Reflexa cane. is known for how easy it is to care for! The main thing to keep an eye on is keeping up with consistent care. Be sure to provide medium to bright indirect sunlight and water thoroughly when the first 3-4" of soil is dry. As a Dracaena plant. the Refelxa can survive a forgotten watering or two. but you might see a small temper tantrum of a few dropped or yellow leaves as a result.
