With Fall right around the corner. the Tricolor Stromanthe will fit in very well with the falling leaves and pumpkin lattes. Hinted by it's name. the plant has cream and green foliage with a red velvet underside. a very interesting mix in our opinion.
But with the beauty comes with its price. the Tricolor Stromanthe are a little harder to please so you will need to pay extra attention to the lighting. water and humidity.
Keep the plant in an indirect bright light spot without more than 4 hours of direct sunlight. Make sure the spot is more well lit than shady.
They like to be kept moist so water the plant thoroughly when the first 2 inches of the soil is dry. about every 2 weeks depending on your indoor environment.
Keep a humidifier near the plant for the best results!
