hsssssss. it's a Calathea Rattlesnake! Unlike an actual rattlesnake. this calathea is safe for your pets and actually pretty easy to look after! Originating from Brazil. the Calathea rattlesnakes would love an indirect bright light spot (a spot bright enough for you to read a book). but they are very comfortable any spot that doesn't have that type of light. it can be in shade. low light. but just not harsh direct sunlight! This makes the Calathea a perfect plant for pretty much any spot around the room!

Also. the plant moves its leaves up at night so keep an eye out for that!
